Little girl in a big hat.

Today was Layla's very first dance recital. Her and all her fellow Chinese Dragon Dancers did so well. They were all so adorable up there on stage. We're very proud of her!!

Today started windy. Like reeeeally windy. But luckily by the afternoon it died down and The Munchkins and I were able to head over to the Goetz's for a BBQ. The kids had a lot of fun playing together. The bouncy house was a favourite. Here they are enjoying the yummy dinner Amanda made for us.

We got a nice taste of summer today. It was so hot so we decided to pull out the kiddie pool and sprinkler (& sunscreen & hats). The Munchkins had tons of fun in the sun!

Today was Layla's first soccer game!! Her jersey number is 7 and she's on Team Grey. She also has two fun & enthusiastic coaches. She loved participating in the warm-up and practice they had at the beginning of the game, but wasn't a huge fan of the actual game. I think she just has a hard time understanding that not only is she allowed to take the ball from the other kids, she's SUPPOSED to. Hopefully she catches on throughout the summer.
