While making lunch, the munchkins got into the pots & pans cupboard. Immediately, Layla turned one over, grabbed a spoon and started drumming. Cooper, being oh so practical, turned it back over and insisted on stirring. No drumming for him.

Coop's first time colouring.

Cooper hanging out in the IKEA chair (The "Poang") that Layla got for Christmas a couple of years ago.

Lily Goetz came over for a play with Layla this afternoon. They had a lot of fun outside together building snow castles with the sand pails with what little snow we have left.

Auntie Marz & Joe came over to babysit tonight. Looks like the munchkins had a lot of fun with them!

All ready for hunting season. Head - to - toe.

It was so nice today. We put on our splash pants and spring coats and went for a family walk. We headed down to the bridge where Layla had a blast throwing snowballs into the stream and exclaiming "To infinity and beyond!" with each throw.

Then when we got home she had a blast playing and splashing in the ditch for a good 1/2 hour.

Coop hitched a ride on Daddy's shoulders.

Cooper loved the slide at the park. I actually think he enjoyed climbing up the steps even more than sliding down the slide.

Coop trying to copy his big sister and climb up the slide. This is as far as he made it.

Checking the trees at the park for sap.

Layla thought it was pretty neat that all her shrimp for supper were on a stick.

Mommy went to Owen Sound shopping today. Here Cooper is checking out all the goods when I got home.

Heather, Summer & Mickey came over for a play today. Cooper and Summer are just smitten with each other. Cooper loves to play with Summer, make her laugh and rock her in the car seat. Summer loves the attention she gets from him. She'll sit there and watch him & giggle away. SO cute.

Layla & Mik found the laundry basket full of clean, but unfolded facecloths. They decided to lay them out on the floor and use them as stepping stones. They had fun playing with them, but were less than enthusiastic so pick them all up when they were done. So Heather and I referred to one of their favourite TV shows - Special Agent OSO. Each show, OSO is given a task to complete. And when he does, he gets a Digi-medal. So their mission was to Step 1 - pick up the facecloths. Step 2 - fold the facecloths. Step 3 - stack the facecloths in the laundry hamper. They had fun completing their mission and were thrilled to receive the digi-medals we whipped up for them. (And I was thrilled that the facecloths were now folded!)
